Pine Grove provides genealogical information upon request. A fee of $25.00 per hour is charged and/or $1.00 per page for copies. You may make your request by e-mail at WausauCemetery@gmail.com or write us at Wausau Cemetery Association at 1501 Grand Avenue, Wausau, WI 54403.

We are proud to honor our Veterans. We are currently planning a Veteran Memorial Program for May 16th at 11 AM on our front lawn. We will specifically be honoring five WWII veterans whose plaques were found in storage. These were plaques that had been forgotten. There are many reasons why this can happen but usually the families are in grieving and only the person who signed the veterans papers did not remember this final gesture. With some effort we were successful in locating some of the families who were very surprised of this “find” and were pleased to be a part of this effort.

PINE GROVE CEMETERY WISHES TO THANK THOSE FAMILIES AND THE PUBLIC WHO STEPPED UP TO ASSIST US IN HONORING THESE VETERANS. AFTER THE CEREMONY AND PRIOR TO MEMORIAL DAY THESE VETERAN PLAQUES WILL BE PLACED ON THE PROPER GRAVES BY OUR STAFF. AGAIN—THANK YOU!!
